The latest 30th Anniversary Celebration in Destiny 2 offers players a wide range of new things to earn and activities to explore. With this patch comes a free gift of Bright Dust. Now I’m not sure if this is going to be a weekly treat or if it is a one-time deal, but head on over to the in-game store and grab your free helping of Bright Dust today!
When next Tuesday rolls around I will update this article with a definitive yes or no as to whether or not the Bright Dust is a one-time occurrence or if it is a weekly gift for us to enjoy throughout the 30th Anniversary Celebration.
Ways to Earn Bright Dust
If you are someone who is struggling to hold onto Bright Dust here are a few other ways to earn some Piles of Bright Dust.
- Seasonal Quests. These quests are probably the best way to get Bright Dust. There are lots of activities to complete, and there are many that reward Piles of Bright Dust.
- 75 Quest Seasonal Challenge. For each season, completing 75/75 of the Seasonal Quests will reward a giant pile of Bright Dust, (I think its around 3k-4k) I cant remember the exact number off the top of my head but it’s a lot!
- Bounties. You know those random bounties at cost more Glimmer? Yes those also grand a small portion of Bright Dust for completing. Stack up on those random bounties, you can only hold 5 at a time from any given vendor. This is a great way to gain experience and give yourself a little something extra.
- Leveling up. Every 5 levels (I think its 5) you will earn an EverVerse Engram. These special engrams have a chance of rewarding Piles of Bright Dust.
