Guild Wars 2 launched the latest Living World episode today, Whisper in the Dark. This episode is part of the latest Living World Season, The Icebrood Saga. This first episode is the release of a continued prologue Bound By Blood storyline, as well as delivering the promised features that Anet announced back in August 2019.
Expect to see new Masteries to earn and play, weekly strike missions, a new map, and upgradable new weapons. This update has been long-awaited, jump in today to get the latest episode free.
Requirements for this update include owning the Path of Fire Expansion. Currently, there is a package deal going on. Purchase Path of Fire, and get Heart of Thorns for free. For those still on the freemium version of the game, now is a good time to purchase and take advantage of the free content updates that come with the expansions. If the price is still too high, maybe hold off until Black Friday/Cyber Monday, fingers crossed for a sale!
